Walking into the guest room, with just a bed, an armchair & beautiful artwork on the walls, the room feels uncluttered. Natural light streams through the fully glazed doors and the sweet smell of the lilies on the side table is calming. But you need to work. Fully opening the fold-back pocket doors disguised as a wardrobe, the concealed led lights above automatically turn on and your home office welcomes you.

Creating this dynamic, flexible space without compromising the function of feel of either use, was exactly what the Client wanted but didn’t know how to achieve it with only the space and budget for one room.

This could be made more flexible by swapping the bed with a sofa bed to provide a third space as a rumpus room. Dynamic spaces create endless opportunities to evolve.
